Ramgarh is a serene hill station perched at an altitude of 1789 m above the sea level on Bhowali-Mukteshwar Road. It is located at a distance of 26 km from Nainital in Kumaon Division of Uttaranchal.

Mahadevi Verma also visited the hill station of Ramgarh. Rabindra Nath Tagore had composed some of his compositions at Ramgarh.
